Today, Volitionary Coaching is the home of the Vitality Life Map™, a framework designed to help high-achieving women restore energy, improve health, and build lives supported by sustainable wellbeing.

About Dr. Wendy Harmon

Dr. Wendy Harmon, PhD is a Vitality Strategist, educator, speaker, and founder of Volitionary Coaching. She is also the creator of the Vitality Life Map™.

Wendy's work is built at the intersection of leadership experience, professional training, and lived experience. A former Fortune 500 leader, she spent more than two decades leading large-scale initiatives, guiding teams, and helping organizations navigate change. That background shaped the way she thinks about systems, sustainability, and what it actually takes to create lasting results.

In 2017, her life took an unexpected turn. Wendy was diagnosed with stage 2 metastatic breast cancer. Over the next four years, she underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and 14 surgeries. What that experience gave her wasn't just recovery; it gave her a deeper understanding of resilience, the limits of willpower, and what it really means to live well.

Today, Wendy brings science-backed strategies, behavior change science, and personal experience together to help women navigate midlife health challenges: cancer survivorship, pre-diabetes, and the kind of gradual health decline that doesn't announce itself until the routines that used to work simply stop delivering.

Her approach centers on practical systems designed for real life, not short-term fixes that depend on discipline or motivation to sustain. Through coaching, education, speaking, and strategic partnerships, her mission is straightforward: to help people build lives supported by energy, health, and purpose. Because meaningful change is rarely something we achieve alone.

Our work is grounded in a few simple beliefs:
